Wow! Have Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, finally settled on a name for their upcoming baby boy? A new report claims that Kimye have finally settled on what they’ll call North West’s baby brother!
We can’t wait to welcome the next member ofKim Kardashian, 34, and Kanye West’s, 38, family. The world has certainly fallen in love with their daughter, North West, 2, especially with her name. Kim and Kanye haven’t revealed what they plan to call their next child, but a new report claims the couple has finally settled on a name. What they reportedly picked might just blow you away!
Kim and Kanye have repeatedly shot down the rumor they would go with another direction for a baby name. However, a source close to the family claims that North’s new brother will reportedly be called Easton West.
“Easton is the chosen name,” the source tellsDaily Mail. “It’s confirmed that the baby boy will be called Easton,” the insider added, just to be sure. Okay! With North and reportedly Easton West, Kimye would need just a South to cover all four directions — and all four winds.
Once Kim announced she was pregnant with Baby #2, everyone on the Internet suggested she named her new bundle of joy South WestJimmy Kimmel decided to have some fun with the news, coming up with Baby Name Bingo. The late night host picked names like Wild Wild WestSouth By South West andMid West.
However, Kim shot down the South West speculation. While appearing on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me,’ Kim said “I don’t like South West though, because North will always be better and she has a better direction.” She also didn’t want to see her kids be in conflict — North v. South — so she and Yeezy wouldn’t go with another direction.
While “Easton” is technically not a direction, this reportedly new name is pretty close. It would certainly fit in with the theme, like North’s. Will we welcome “Easton” when Kim gives birth in about five months? We’ll just have to wait and see.
While many think that North’s name came from a compass, Kim and Kanye reportedly named her that way because of different reasons. Not only did the couple reportedly think that North was a powerful name to give her, it also represented new heights for them. They reportedly believe their little girl represents their highest point together and that she represents a kind of “North Star.”
