Harda Twin Train Tragedy: MET Says Had Warned Indian Railways Of Danger Beforehand


After the tragic train accident which took place in Harda on Tuesday night, a shocking revelation has surfaced in the case. The MET Department has said that they issued a notice to the railway department for high alert on the tracks due to bad weather.

The train accident took the lives of 37 people and many are still missing. The MET department alleges that the railways didn't take the high alert seriously which resulted in the dual train tragedy.

Director of the MET department Anupam Kashyap said that the team issued a notice to the authorities to be cautious around Harda and the adjoining areas. The railway authorities have given no response on the statement made by the MET.

Previously, several passengers died in a deadly twin train accident in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh on late Tuesday night. A massive rescue operation is being carried out after the Kamayani Express and Janata Express trains got derailed.
