5 NYSC Escaped Death Yesterday in Akwa Ibom

15 National youth Corps members who were travelling to Iko' Abasi for retreat yesterday  escaped death in a multiple road accident involving a Nigeria Christian corpers fellowship bus they were travelling in, three tricycles and a Kia Rio saloon car at a village near Akwa Ibom state.
The accident, accordingto the eyewitness, occured at the ever bus Abak- Ekom Iman high way few kilometres from Uyo.
Although no life was lost but, five person's including some of the corps members were seriously injured and were later admitted at the university of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
