David Beckham considering playing James Bond role

Former Manchester United and England captain David Beckham is reportedly said to be considering putting himself forward to play James Bond in the next 007 movie when Daniel Craig’s contract expires.
Daily Star UK reported earlier that the football legend was being encouraged by his fans to contest for the role of Hollywood’s most famous spy.
The 40-year-old thinks he can be a good James Bond, and thinks he can get it when Daniel Craig’s contract expires soon.
Beckham has already began actively pursuing acting roles, featuring in a special episode of Only Fools And Horses last Christmas and has recently booked a speaking role in a movie directed by his friend Guy Ritchie. The former Real Madrid star has also appeared in Outlaws, a 15 minute film produced by Belstaff.

The father of four admitted he was nervous when filming started: “It was nerve-racking delivering the lines but I enjoyed it massively. Sport gets my heart beating faster. Acting is the same.”
Beckham might just breathe some fresh air into the movies and even if he doesn’t, with all the criticism of recent James Bond movies.
