Anglican bishop of Gwagwalada Diocese, Abuja has been kidnapped.

A gang of kidnappers has abducted the Bishop of Gwagwalada Diocese, Abuja, Bishop Moses Tabwaye, at Onicha-Ugbo-Ewohimi Road, Edo State, while he was travelling to Onitsha from Abuja.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the kidnap of the clergyman, said in a statement yesterday that police were on the trail of the kidnappers.
She, however, disclosed that the Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad tracking team stormed a kidnappers’ camp at Obetim forest, near Kwale, in Delta State, and rescued a manager with First Bank, Mr. Lawrence Ekwuabu, who was abducted on September 3 along Kwale Road, unhurt.
The police spokesperson said the kidnappers of Bishop Tabwaye left behind his ash-coloured Toyota Highlander SUV with number plates GWA 842 SJ.
Kalu said the Safer Highway patrol team recovered the bishop’s vehicle on the said Onitsha-Ugbo-Ewohimi Road, while on duty tour
