The Facebook and Twitter accounts believed to belong to the Virginia shootings suspect have been taken down after footage appearing to show the killings was posted online.

Videos posted on social media by Bryce Williams, another name Vester Lee Flanagan II is said to have gone by, shows a first-hand view of the shooting.

A tweet from the Bryce Williams account, which was set up two weeks ago, says: "I filmed the shooting see Facebook."

One clip shows the shooter walking up to where Alison Parker is doing an interview and the barrel of the gun comes into shot.

A second video posted on the Facebook account shows the shooting itself.

Alison can be seen looking towards the camera as a number of shots are fired at her at point blank range.

She screams and runs away but it was later revealed her and cameraman Adam Ward died.

Flanagan is said to have been a colleague of the victims and worked as a TV news reporter for WDBJ7.
