Three guys have been arrested for allegedly raping and filming the victim in Greater Noida. The incident was unveiled four days ago when the family members of the victim came across the rape video of their daughter.
“A case was registered at Dadri police station following the complaint of girl’s parents and the accused identified as Dharmi, Firey and Satish were arrested. They were produced in the court on Tuesday and were sent to jail,” said a senior police official.
The victim said the accused persons have been raping her since last four months. In the month of May, when she was going to college, the accused persons abducted her in a car from near ITBP camp and gave her some anesthetic. They then raped her and recorded it on mobile camera, said a police official quoting the girl’s statement.
“The complainant had just started her college. She said the accused dropped her to the college and threatened to circulate her video clip if she complains to police. Since then, she said she alleged she was being exploited by the accused,” the official added.
Few days back, the accused persons allegedly tried to use the victim as a carrier to smuggle some weapon which she denied. The accused persons threatened her to circulate the video clip on whatsapp but she refused to do what they wanted.
“In her statement she said that the accused persons wanted her to deliver a gun and some cartridges to some people at Pari Chowk. When she refused, they circulated her video on whatsapp and sent the clip to her family members as well on August 19,” the official added.
The police, however, said they have not recovered any such video yet.
“We are investigating the case from every aspect. We have also sent the clothes the victim was wearing at the time of the incident for forensic test. She had undergone a medico-legal test but as the matter is four months old, nothing substantial found in the reports,” the official added.
