nai

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a pastor with a Pentecostal church identified as Nzube Ohuama, for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl during a night vigil in the church premises.
13-year-old who had gone to the church for the monthly vigil in company of her parents was lured by the pastor into a private room attached to the church before allegedly defiling her.
It was further learnt that Pastor Ohuama had earlier prophesied to the victim’s parents that she was possessed by an evil spirit which has been tormenting her, adding that he must conduct a special prayer session for her.

Ohuama reportedly told the girl’s parents that he should be given the go ahead to cast the evil spirit, hence the permission of the parents.
At about 1am when the vigil was in full session, the pastor was said to have told the congregation that he had a special prayer session to carry out with the girl just as he led her to the private room where he committed the act.
The victim’s sister however caught the pastor in the act as she walked into the office after she heard her sister crying in the office.
On reporting the incident to her parents, they lodge a complaint against the pastor at the Fegge Police Station, resulting in leading the arrest of Ohuama.
